First Aid - Basic Course

For companies

The course content covers topice related to accidents and emergencies occurring in the work environment. This training is designed for employees of enterprises, production plants, mechanical plants, etc. 

Duration: 5h

Course content:
  • legal issues around first aid;
  • own safety and the accident scene;
  • calling emergency services;
  • casualty assessment;
  • unconscious victim - recovery position;
  • adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation using an AED defibrillator;
  • first aid in selected emergencies (chest pain, shortness of breath);
  • wound care and haemorrhage control;
  • first aid in selected injuries (fractures, burns, electric shock);
  • industrial first aid kit equipment.

For drivers

This training is intended for drivers and other vehicles operators, it includes an extended module on providing assistance in traffic accidents, and the training in the use of a car fire extinguisher.

Duration: 6h

Course content:
  • legal issues around first aid;
  • own safety and the accident scene;
  • calling emergency services;
  • casualty assessment; 
  • evacuation of the casualty from the vehicle;
  • unconscious victim - recovery position;
  • adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation using an AED defibrillator;
  • wound care and haemorrhage control;
  • first aid in selected injuries (fractures, burns, spine injuries);
  • training in the use of a car fire extinguisher;
  • car first aid kit equipment.

For individuals

Training for people who want to learn the basis of first aid in the most common life-threatening emergencies - at home, on the way to work, in free time.

Duration: 5h

Thematic scope:
  • legal issues around first aid;
  • own safety and the accident scene;
  • calling emergency services;
  • casualty assessment;
  • unconscious victim - recovery position;
  • foreign body airway obstruction in an adult and a child;
  • cardiopulmonary resuscitation of adults and children using an AED defibrillator;
  • first aid in selected emergencies (chest pain, dyspnoea, fainting, convulsions);
  • wound care and haemorrhage control;
  • first aid in selected injuries (burns, electric shock).
