First Aid Course - Infants and Children
Basic course
The training is designed for parents, guardians and employees of nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools. The course covers life-saving first-aid skills in the most common life-threatening conditions, as well as in injuries that may occur while caring for a child.
Duration: 5h
Course content:
- legal issues around first aid;
- own safety and the accident scene;
- calling emergency services;
- injured child assessment;
- recovery position;
- foreign body airway obstruction;
- basic life support;
- life-threatening conditions in children (convulsions, anaphylaxis, croup syndrome, hypoglycemia, apnea in infants, poisoning).
Extended course
